My company's objectives are not only to provide mobile music and visual entertainment, but to push the connection between (visual) marketing along with what I/we do at VisualTurns. Specifically, we've combined custom audio/video editing and Video DJing at it's highest level to create a powerful, interactive marketing show; which greatly appeals to a target audience of 12-50 years old. Groove University is a DJ Program at the University of California at Davis (CADSS). "Groove U." has been teaching students for well over a decade and is one of the few DJ programs in the country that has residency at a mainstream, 4-year University. Our program has been very supported by the Pro Audio Industry for well over a decade. Our sponsors have been: American Audio, AB International, Denon, Monster Cable, Numark, Pro Cases, Rane, Serato, Sennheiser, Vestax and others. We, not only, teach about the various techniques of mixing, music programming and scratching, we talk about the business (ie Mobile, Radio & Nightclub), as well. The curriculum is structured so there would be a balance between exposing them to the foundations of the DJ Art-Form, as well as the business aspects of the industry. And if they integrate the concepts that we expose them to they will, not only, be developing the foundation of the art-form, they will be creating the ability to make any event a success.
